How Cutboard actually works.

Connect your Drive.

Point Cutboard at a Google Drive folder of footage, photos, and brand assets you already have. We transcode, index, and make it searchable by what's actually in it — no more scrubbing 2-hour b-roll dumps. Your files stay in your Drive; we just read them.

Tell us your brand.

The Brand Brain wizard pulls together your brand voice, target audience, what's winning, and what's not. Done once — every ad after this is grounded in your actual brand context, not a generic template.

Talk to the Ad Agent.

Describe the ad you want. Format. Platform. Hook angle. The agent reads your Brand Brain, digs through your library, and writes the ad — with hooks, on-screen text, scene picks, CTAs. Iterate in chat until it's ready.

Ship it — finished, or editor-ready.

For carousels and static ads, Cutboard generates the finished image. For video, you get a shot list with exact timestamps + script + on-screen text — so your editor opens one brief and starts cutting. Either way, share via a public link (no Cutboard login required for the recipient).

  • Cut your video for youNo timeline editing. No transitions. No color grading. That's your editor's job — we make it faster, not automatic.
  • Replace your editorThe brief saves your editor ~80% of decision work (which clip, when, what overlay). You still hit render — for now.
