Product

What is Cutboard, exactly?

Cutboard turns your raw video footage and brand voice into ready-to-ship paid ads. You connect a Google Drive folder once, fill in your brand details, then chat with the workspace to spin up video ads (with editor briefs), static images, and carousels — multi-variant, multi-platform.

Who's it for?

Performance creatives + small in-house teams shipping paid ads on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and similar placements. If you're tired of grinding out one variation at a time and want to test 5x more without hiring 5x the team, this is for you.

Do I need to upload my footage to Cutboard?

No. You point Cutboard at a Google Drive folder, and we transcode + index it in place. Your original files stay in your Drive — we just keep a low-resolution proxy and scene metadata for the workspace to reference.

What gets generated vs what's pulled from my library?

Static images and carousel slides are generated in-house by the workspace (via gpt-image-2). Video ads pull scene picks directly from your indexed library — the workspace gives you a shot-list editor brief with exact timestamps from your real footage. You decide which formats fit each campaign.

Can I edit the generated images?

Yes. Once an image is generated, ask for refinements in chat ("make slide 2 warmer", "change the shirt to navy") and the workspace edits the existing image in place — preserves composition, just changes what you asked for.

Can I share the final ad with my editor or client?

Every saved ad gets a public share link (cutboard.io/ad/abcd1234) — no signup needed for the recipient. Editors get a shot-list-shaped brief they can drop straight onto a timeline. Clients see a clean preview.

Pricing & billing

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from the Manage Subscription button on /settings/billing and the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access until then. No refunds for the remainder of the month — we just don't bill you again.

What happens when I hit a cap?

Your workspace pauses on that specific resource for the rest of the month. (Chat keeps working if you hit the footage cap, for example — they're separate buckets.) You can upgrade mid-month; the new caps apply immediately and the price is prorated by Stripe.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every new workspace starts on a 14-day trial with limited caps so you can evaluate the product without a credit card. No auto-charge: when the trial ends, you pick a plan or the workspace pauses until you do.

Do you offer custom or annual plans?

For high-volume agencies or in-house teams beyond the Scale tier, yes — reach out via /contact and we'll quote a custom plan with adjusted caps + annual pricing. Default plans are month-to-month.

What's actually counted toward each cap?

Footage minutes = total runtime of videos you ingest into the library each month. Chat messages = turns you send to the Ad Agent (assistant replies aren't counted). Ad images = images the agent generates on your behalf. Brand scans = full rescans of your brand discovery (not initial setup).
